You held me like the morning sun,
Knowing evening had to come.
Every wish you couldn't say found a home inside my veins,
Tiny worlds with paper wings,
Waiting for the breeze to sing.
Nothing beautiful ever asks to be owned.
I'm a dandelion, scattered into the sky,
A thousand little endings learning how to fly.
