Dova Music - Keep the Spare Keys

A ring of metal bent and worn.
Your spare keys warm in my palm.
I meant to leave them where they lay,
But my hand closed up and didn't obey.
So I'm keeping the keys.
I'm keeping them tight.
Not for a door, not for a night.
